As a teaching site, our department trains students in clinical echocardiography, radiologic technology, and ultrasound from colleges and technical programs. 3D Mammography: Advanced Breast Cancer Detection

Early detection saves lives, and our 3D Mammography offers a level of accuracy that brings peace of mind. As a beta site for cutting-edge Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) systems, ERH is among the first to use this more advanced form of mammography.

Compared to traditional imaging, 3D mammography more precisely identifies abnormalities—especially in dense breast tissue—by differentiating between benign and malignant findings. This means fewer callbacks, better clarity, and earlier detection when it matters most.

Our mammography technologist is known for her warmth, skill, and ability to make each patient feel at ease. With industry-leading equipment, we also offer some of the shortest compression times, making the process more comfortable without compromising accuracy.
