Walter L. Sperling, MD has been the Medical Director at Ellenville Regional Hospital since 2011. He has been affiliated with Ellenville Regional Hospital since 1966. He has served Ellenville Regional Hospital as an Attending Physician and Chief of Medicine from 1966-1998. He is an Internist who owned a community Medical Practice for 45 years. In 2010, he joined The Institute for Family Health, a federally qualified healthcare center as an Internist.

Dr. Sperling graduated from Northwestern University Medical School with Internship and Residency from Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania. He served the United States Air Force as the Captain and Chief of Medicine at Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Florida from 1964-1966.
