Over the course of this school year, Ellenville Regional Hospital has had the privilege of partnering with the Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Program—a collaboration rooted in mentorship, hands-on learning, and community-building.
Together with BOCES faculty, administrators, and students, we:
Hosted campus tours that brought healthcare careers to life
Designed a real-world challenge project to bridge classroom learning with practical application
Welcomed student interns who immersed themselves in the day-to-day workings of our hospital
On Thursday, June 4, this incredible journey culminated in a moment of celebration:
We proudly recognized two outstanding interns for their dedication and professionalism—and we’re thrilled to announce that both will be joining the ERH family as employees after graduating this month! ![]()

In another heartwarming moment, our ERH Auxiliary awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving Ulster BOCES student pursuing a future in healthcare. ![]()
To all involved: thank you for helping us shape the future of healthcare, one student at a time.
