Trusted Expertise. Safer Outcomes. Better Care.
Today’s advanced medications have transformed healthcare—saving lives, improving quality of life, and preventing complications. At Ellenville Regional Hospital, our pharmacists are essential partners in your care, working directly with providers to ensure that every medication is safe, effective, affordable, and tailored to your needs.
Ellenville Regional Hospital’s Pharmacy team has earned national recognition for its commitment to excellence. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has honored ERH with four Patient Safety and Clinical Pharmacy Program awards, including one for Life-Saving Interventions. These accolades reflect our dedication to high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
Our pharmacy team plays a vital role in your care experience by:
Reviewing medication orders to ensure safe, appropriate use and prevent adverse reactions, duplication, allergies, and dosing errors
Collaborating with your provider and clinical staff to determine the best medication, dosage, and timing for optimal results
Accurately fulfilling provider orders and preparing medications for Nursing to administer
Reducing unnecessary costs by guiding providers toward effective, cost-efficient options
Educating patients on the purpose, proper use, and potential side effects of their medications
Enhancing safety through real-time integration with ERH’s electronic medical record (EMR) system
We encourage patients and families to ask questions—our pharmacists are always available to help you understand your medications and how to take them effectively.

At ERH, we take the time to listen and engage with patients and families. Our pharmacists value open communication and are committed to helping you feel confident in your care. Whether you have questions about a new prescription or concerns about side effects, we welcome the conversation.
The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, and when closed, a pharmacist remains on-call for consultations. With secure remote access to our EMR system, our pharmacists review all medication orders within 24 hours—ensuring continuity, safety, and peace of mind.
