Advanced Relief. Holistic Care. Local Access.
Chronic pain can significantly impact your ability to function and enjoy life. At Ellenville Regional Hospital, our Pain Management Program offers advanced, personalized care for patients suffering from long-term neurological and musculoskeletal pain. Led by Yinggang Zheng, MD, a Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained interventional pain management specialist, our program focuses on non-opioid, evidence-based strategies designed to treat the whole person—not just the symptoms.
Dr. Zheng sees patients on-site at the ERH Specialty Services Department, offering minimally invasive procedures, expert diagnosis, and integrative treatment options. Our program blends Eastern and Western medicine and emphasizes non-pharmacologic therapies such as:
Targeted injections and nerve blocks
Minimally invasive spine procedures
Complementary physical therapy
Topical treatments and rehabilitation strategies
We treat a wide range of chronic and complex pain conditions, including:
Chronic neck and low back pain
Sciatica and nerve root pain (radiculopathy)

If additional services—such as prescriptions or specialist referrals—are needed, our team will coordinate directly with your provider or connect you with ERH’s trusted in-house professionals.
We welcome referrals from physicians, caregivers, and other medical professionals, but you can also contact us directly for evaluation. Caregivers and family members are welcome to participate in education and therapy sessions.
Our services are covered by Medicare and most major insurance plans. If you are uninsured or underinsured, you may qualify for our financial assistance program. We’re committed to making pain relief accessible and affordable.
